How FindTutor listings work
Where the data comes from, how cities are chosen, and how to request a correction.
FindTutor listings are compiled from publicly available tutor and centre profiles in New Zealand (including published names, subjects, areas, phone numbers and photos). We are not affiliated with Kumon, Kip McGrath, NumberWorks'nWords, MyTuition or other source platforms.
Subjects and cities
We publish every subject that at least one tutor teaches, after cleaning duplicate labels (for example “Piano Lessons” becomes Piano). We publish every New Zealand city and town where we could place at least one matching tutor on the map. A tutor can appear in more than one city if they list several areas or if a small town has fewer than three people and we include teachers within about 10 km.
Corrections
If your listing is wrong, outdated, or you want it removed, email [email protected] with the profile URL. Become-a-tutor requests can use the same address until an application form is added.
